Leonel Díaz Coria
My name is Leonel Díaz Coria, Physiotherapist graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Buenos Aires University in 2000 and Osteopath graduated from Buenos Aires Osteopathic School. Previously graduated as National Professor of Physical Education. I have been a sportsman all my life; currently an amateur triathlete of great passion and dedication as everything I choose to do in my life.
At the end of my university stage, my commitment to professional training has been permanent: Resident for 3 years and one more year as Chief Resident, then specializing in Global Postural Reeducation techniques, Sports Rehabilitation, 5 year postgraduate training in Osteopathy, Visceral Manipulations with Jean Pierre Barral and Osteopathy in the Cranial Field at the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy in London.
I have worked in the area of physical activity and health for over 25 years, both in the public and private sectors. The stage of more than 15 years at the Juan A. Fernandez Hospital in charge of the rehabilitation of post-surgical patients in the Orthopedics and Traumatology ward has allowed me to acquire extensive experience in the treatment of various pathologies or ailments. At the same time, in my clinic Aktivar Kinesiology and Traumatology , for more than 12 years I have developed a quality service, solving the discomfort of hundreds of patients, many of whom have avoided surgery by improving their functionality as a result of the treatment provided.
My knowledge and experience have grown over the years and I will certainly continue to cultivate it, but the real driving force has always been my commitment and passion to help, which remain in first place as when I chose this profession as part of my life.
One of the things I enjoy most about my profession is the fact that I plan and carry out rehabilitation from the moment the symptoms appear or from an immediate post-operative period, until the complete disappearance of the symptoms and the return to the practice of sports or the activities of daily life in full. Sharing the joy of a patient who came to me with some impediment in his daily life or in his favourite sport and then, at the end of the journey, resumes his activities fully is a satisfaction that has accompanied me since my beginnings.
